Small fish from the Rasbora family. A fully mature individual has a standard length of 5 cm. This small size makes Rasbora good for making Prohok ch'oeung (). The local name changva chhnoht () describes the physical characteristics used to identify the fish. This family of fish has a central dark stripe (chhnoht) and shape of a row boat oar (changva) and is well known to Khmer people by this name
