Small fish from the Rasbora family. A fully mature individual has a standard length of 5 cm. This small size makes Rasbora good for making Prohok ch'oeung (). The local name changva chhnoht (
) describes the physical characteristics used to identify the fish. This family of fish has a central dark stripe (chhnoht) and shape of a row boat oar (changva) and is well known to Khmer people by this name
