Table 1 Description of samples. Samples 1 to 10 were collected from non-professional cellars whose production is destined for self-consumption. Samples 11 and 16 were control samples taken from a professional cellar, before and after the wine aged in Tea barrels. Samples 12, 13, and 14 were collected from tea wines produced by professional wineries. Finally, sample 15-R is a Retsina wine bought from the cellar in Greece in order to compare it with tea wines.
